September 2008

Charles booked the role of Billy in HBO's untitled Temple Grandin Project starring Claire Danes. This role is unique for Charles in that he actually plays a nice guy for a change. More details to come.
Breaking Bad wins two Emmys, one for best single camera editing and the other went to Bryan Cranston for best actor. Shroud was submitted to the Sundance Movie Festival. Charles returns to New Mexico again to shoot another episode of Breaking Bad. Fright Flick was accepted into the "B-Movie Fest: Alternative Movies & Events film Festival" in Syracuse, New York

August 2008

Charles returns to New Mexico to shoot season two of Breaking Bad, which has recieved 4 Emmy nominations for the first season including: Best Actor for Bryan Cranston.
Fright Flick was accepted into the "Chicago Horror Film Festival".

Charles Baker's Demo Reel is now up and running! For those of you who have seen it, check it out again, because, I've added a scene from the upcoming thiller, Fright Flick, where I play a rather unconventional character named Chase (trust me, you'll be surprised). Fright Flick is done and heading to the festivals! There was a recent sneak preview in Dallas that went really well, so expectations are high. Keep an eye and an ear open for Fright Flick, by Israel Luna, in a film festival near you. Still waiting to hear about the upcoming releases of Shroud, and Splinter, keep checking back for updates!

Be sure to watch Charles as Skinny Pete on Breaking Bad at 9pm Feb.17th and March 2nd. To catch up on the first few episodes go to Breaking Bad on AMCtv.com. Fright Flick, by Israel Luna is finished and ready for the big screen! Israel has submitted it to the AFI FILM FESTIVAL (festival is March 27 through April 6th). Israel Luna's movie THE DEADBEAT CLUB won The Audience Award a few years ago from the same festival people so hopefully, they'll get us in. Keep checking for updates here or at La Luna Entertainment. Also, Shroudis also rumored to be in the final stages and is looking to premiere sometime in March.

It's a New Year!
Comanche Moon, the prequel to the Emmy Award winning Lonesome Dove, will air on CBS this month, Jan. 13th, 15th and 16th at 9/8pm central. 
Be sure to catch Charles as Monkey John in the 3rd and final segment ofthis 6 hour miniseries. 
Also, coming on Jan. 20th, be sure to watch Breaking Bad, the new AMC drama starring Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle). Catch Charles as"Skinny Pete" in episodes 3 and 5 (dates TBA).
Also coming out this year: Shroud, a high-def gothic western, written and directed by David Jetre-Charles plays the outlaw, Billy Sidehammer. 
Fright Flick- "the quintessential campy, slasher/who-dunnit flick that reveals how everyone is just dying to be in the movie business" Directed by Israel Luna and starring Chad Allen (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman). Catch Charles in his most outrageous role yet... a drag queen with an attitude. Premiere TBA.
Splinter -the next iconic horror film directed by Toby Wilkins (Tales of the Grudge and The Grudge 3). Coming sometime in 2008.

November 2007

Breaking Bad role expanded. Shot one more episode and have the possibility of more to come. Look for Charles as Skinny Pete in AMC's Breaking Bad, premiering January 17th, 2008.

Booked a role in episode three of Breaking Bad, a new drama series from AMC which debuts in January, directed by Jim McKay.

August 2007

Charles and his wife Rachel are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Kiery Janel Aile Baker, born Aug. 8th at 11:40 am at Baylor Southwest in Fort Worth, TX. She weighed 4lbs 14 oz. and was 18 inches long. Of course, she has her daddy’s blue eyes.
